(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Wednesday Donald Trump Jr.’s account on X, formerly known as Twitter, was hacked, and in one of the posts it was falsely announced that his father, former President Donald Trump had died. However, Trump had not in fact passed away and he has since made posts on Truth Social.

While it quickly became known that Trump Jr. had been the victim of hacking, there were still a number of online searches that questioned whether the President had in fact died. Many of Trump’s supporters also accused his detractors of having wished him dead.

In the announcement post on Trump Jr. ‘s account, it had been announced that Trump had passed away and that in his place his son was going to be joining the 2024 presidential election. Only minutes after this message had been posted, Raheem Kasam from The National Pulse had verified that this was a hacking incident.

Andrew Surabian, a spokesperson and adviser of Trump Jr. in his own statement on X noted that the announcement had been clearly false and that Trump Jr.’s account had been hacked.

During the hacking, Trump Jr.’s account also posted a number of other statements. In one post it informed Elon Musk, the owner of X, that he was owned by Trump, in another it insulted President Joe Biden, and made reference to some “interesting messages” that were connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Since Trump Jr. recovered his account the posts have been removed. His brother Eric Trump also joked about the hack stating that this was very entertaining and he did not want his brother to get back his account.
