Biden Uses Tragedy To Take Away American Rights

(TruthAndLiberty.com) This week President Biden mourned the 18 people who were killed during a recent mass shooting in Maine, following the discovery of the suspected mass shooter. On Friday evening, the suspect was discovered dead which resulted in the massive manhunt in the area coming to an end.

In a statement released by Biden, the President expressed that he was grateful that the communities in Lewiston and the surrounding areas were safe following days of being called to remain in their homes. He added that Americans should not need to live in this way.

On Friday, Robert Card, who is the suspected gunman was discovered dead after he is believed to have been responsible for a mass shooting that resulted in 13 people being injured and 18 people losing their lives in Lewiston, Maine. The shooting took place on Wednesday and it was the largest mass shooting thus far this year in the U.S. and most likely the largest mass shooting in Maine’s history.

Following the shooting, Biden once against pushed for more gun control legislation and even slammed the gun control laws in Maine. This has also led to a new push for a ban on assault weapons.

Biden stated that he had called for all those GOP members in Congress to help protect the American people and ensure they are safe. He added that until that day came he would continue to do everything possible in order to put an end to the gun violence epidemic. As he pointed out this was what Americans deserved.
