(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Sunday, President Biden argued that he was not on vacation during his recent visit to his Rehoboth Beach home in Delaware. He added that currently, he did not have a home to go to.

While leaving Mass at St. Edmund Roman Catholic Church, Biden was approached by reporters who asked about his recent visit to his second home in Delaware. In response, the President, who is living in the White House but often spends his weekends in Delaware claimed that he was not on vacation.

He proceeded to tell reporters that he does not have a “home to go to.” He added that currently, the U.S. Secret Service was taking action to help make his Wilmington, Delaware home more secure and that he has not been able to visit his home for months. As he pointed out, because of this the only home that he can visit when he is in Delaware, is his home in Rehoboth. He proceeded to state that he was in Delaware for only a day.

Biden had first revealed to reporters that security upgrades were being made to his Wilmington home in April, following his trip to Ireland.

During this recent visit, Biden reached Delaware on Saturday night after first stopping in Florida to assess the damage caused by Hurricane Idalia. He was originally meant to spend Labor Day weekend in his beach house, but the storm last week led to those plans being altered.

The reporters in response to Biden’s statement questioned whether he was insinuating he was homeless, to which Biden said he was not and that he simply had one home he could go to right now.
