White House Goes Rabid On Republicans

(TruthAndLiberty.com) – The White House has been increasingly more critical of the impeachment inquiry launched by House Republicans against President Biden. This has resulted in many moderate GOP members being worried about the future of their seats in the 2024 presidential election.

Next week House Republicans are intending to have a vote to formalize the impeachment inquiry. The House GOP first started their investigations into the Biden family at the start of the year, and have been attempting to show with their probes that President Biden is corrupt.

At the same time, the White House has spent the past few days trying to make the case that the far-right extremist members of the Republican party, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) were the ones making all the decisions and calling the shots.

The effort also points out the conundrum that moderate GOP members are facing in selecting whether or not they should launch an impeachment inquiry into the President formally. This is while also trying to keep a balance between their position and the position of the more disruptive lawmakers in an attempt to keep their seats safe in the next election. This is particularly true for those lawmakers who have seats in districts that were previously won by President Biden.

Former Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R) told the Hill that the White House’s approach was most likely “smart” considering how the majority of House Republicans who are in competitive districts are trying to break apart from the more radical members of the Republican party.
