(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Saturday night, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) was introduced to the stage following former President Donald Trump’s win in the South Carolina Republican primary only to be met with boos from the audience. Trump won the primary election with a large margin shortly after the ballot was closed.

Graham has been a vocal supporter and ally of the former President. Yet, when he joined the stage he was met with a hostile reception.

Former President Donald Trump during his introduction to the Senator, claimed that whenever he felt like he was in “trouble on the left” he could call Graham. Trump then joked that Graham did not appear on television often and that he might be a bit more to the left than several of the people who were on stage during his speech. Still, he pointed out that whenever he felt that he was facing trouble with the left, he knew to call Graham and that this would be enough for the situation to be sorted out.

After getting on stage and grabbing the mic, the crowd loudly booed him during the entirety of his remarks.

Graham in his remarks argued that Trump was the “most qualified” person to serve as the United States president and that South Carolina has allowed the biggest political comeback in the country’s history.

Trump’s victory in Saturday’s primary means that he has beaten Haley three times in a row as he won in all previous caucuses and primary races.
