(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump while walking into the New York courtroom for his civil fraud trial replied to the questions reporters had about his wife, Melania Trump.

Reporters specifically questioned what his wife thought of the $250 million fraud trial that is targeting the Trump Organization, Donald Trump, and his two eldest sons.

Trump argued that his wife thought it was a complete “disgrace” and that it was “unfair.” He then reiterated that this case was purely about election interference and it had been started by the Department of Justice and President Joe Biden.

Letitia James, the New York Attorney General who brought forward the case has accused the former President of frequently inflating and deflating his assets in order to defraud insurers and banks and gain more beneficial loans and other business deals.
Following Trump’s exit from the White House in 2021, his wife Melania has largely opted to remain out of the public spotlight and has not played a role in the former President’s 2024 presidential campaign. Trump is currently facing a number of legal challenges, including two state and two federal indictments that are likely going to result in him needing to appear in court.

While Melania Trump was frequently present during Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign she has remained out of the spotlight and has not been by her husband’s side at any of his arraignments or throughout his 2024 campaign.

Last month when Trump was asked if Melania would join him on the campaign trail, he replied that she was a private person and that when appropriate she would join. He added that she has been busy with caring for their son Barron, 17.
