(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Michael Cohen, the former fixer and lawyer of Donald Trump has stated that despite his current relationship with Donald Trump he would be continuing to live in his Park Avenue apartment.

On Friday, Cohen took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to respond to a user who had inquired whether Cohen’s family intended to move out of the Lennox Hill residential apartment amid the New York civil fraud trial against former President Trump.

Cohen in response pointed out that he owned the apartment in the Trump property, which he had purchased years before he had started to work for Trump. He added that while the building bore the Trump name, the ownership of the building did not belong to Trump. He added that the building is not subject to any possible penalties or fines that could end up appearing because of the legal issues. He added that therefore he is not planning to move until he is ready to do so.

Cohen told Newsweek that he had no intention to move out of the building and repeated that while the building had Trump’s name it was actually owned by all of the condominium tenants. He added that Trump, whose name the building bears, is only the property developer and that he was not actually the owner.

Trump does own a number of units inside the building, with Trump Park avenue serving as the home of many members of the Trump family, however, the building was not under his name. As such, only the units could be affected by the legal case against Trump.
