(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Sunday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin would not stop even if he ended up being successful in the war against Ukraine.
During an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” Graham spoke up about the situation in Ukraine and argued that Putin was not going to stop. As he stated this is not about “containing NATO” but rather about the fact that if Russia is allowed to take Ukraine then Taiwan would be next as China was seeing everything that was happening.
Graham who is a big supporter of Ukraine also discussed the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act’s (FISA) which is now being authorized by the Senate for two years The legislation also further extends the ability of the U.S. government to spy on foreigners who are not within the United States for another two years. This process has resulted in some criticisms from those focused on privacy as it could lead to all communications of Americans who contact those on the list being spied on.
Graham stated that all he wanted to know was what they were talking about there “before they kill us here.” He added that by shutting this down they were essentially allowing a war to become a crime. He continued by saying that they were not fighting “our crime” but that they would be finding people who would be willing to kill everyone if they managed to get to the United States. He added that when intercepting information from a foreigner who is overseas it is important to understand and know what they are talking about with the American.
