(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Sunday, former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) stated that on an international level, President Biden had been a better leader than former President Donald Trump.

During an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” with anchor Jake Tapper, Cheney was asked which of the two Presidents had been provided “better leadership” internationally. In response, she argued that Biden had “certainly” been the better leader. She further blasted Trump over his previous criticisms of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister following the Hamas surprise attack against Israel earlier this month. Trump had specifically accused Netanyahu of having let the U.S. down in 2020 after the U.S. killed an Iranian military general.

Cheney called Trump’s comments “appalling” and added that Tapper was right in arguing that all GOP Congress members and other Republican presidential candidates needed to be asked about their response to those comments.

She then added that Trump had allegedly shared with Russia intelligence from Israel during his time as President. As she pointed out, Special Counsel Jack Smith’s indictment also included allegations that Trump had shared classified information regarding possible military action that could be taken against Iran.

Cheney said that in a sense Trump was not only complementing many of the country’s adversaries and terrorist organizations that had murdered innocent people. It also appears that Trump had shared classified information belonging both to Israel and the United States. This as she stated was only one of the examples of how Trump was not the right choice to be the president.
