( – CBS “60 Minutes” host Scott Pelley stated that President Biden appears to be “tired” of handling the country’s foreign policies in regard to both the U.S. efforts in Ukraine and more recently Israel following the recent terrorist attacks by Hamas.

Pelley stated that after speaking to the President he appeared to be “tired from directing” the country’s efforts which included having his Defense Secretary at NATO and his Secretary of State in Israel. He added that this has been a “rough week” which is evident in Biden.

The 80-year-old president is the oldest serving president in U.S. history. He is also running for reelection in 2024 where if successful he is going to finish his second term in office at the age of 86. Pelley added that Biden was “clear” on his views, policies, and on how to “see America through.”

However, despite this statement, many Democratic strategists and other prominent figures have expressed concerns over Biden’s age. In a recent Politico column, it was also noted that the Democrats were so far unable to convince voters to look past their concerns about Biden’s age as he runs for reelection.

Jonathan Martin, a senior columnist for Politico noted in a piece that the Democratic leaders had been seeing that their voters are primarily apprehensive about the President’s age and were having a hard time with being able to remember any of the president’s accomplishments. Martin noted that Biden’s age is the only refrain that Democratic consultants are able to state regarding Biden.
