(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Hillary Clinton, the Former Secretary of State and First Lady during an interview with MSNBC host Rachel Maddow was laughing prior to the announcement of former President Donald Trump’s fourth indictment in Georgia in connection to his attempts to overturn the presidential election.

Maddow during the interview stated that across the country people were wondering what Clinton was thinking as the events in Georgia were unfolding. In response, Clinton laughed and stated that she could not “believe this.” She added that she had genuinely not believed that something like this would happen and that there would be another “set of indictments.”

When asked if she was satisfied with the indictments following her repeated warnings about Trump being a threat to the country’s democracy, Clinton stated that she was actually feeling “profound sadness” over the possibility of another indictment.

She added that she did not know whether anyone should be feeling satisfied considering this was a “terrible moment” for the U.S. to have its former President indicted on such serious charges. She pointed out that the only satisfaction that could potentially be derived from this situation is in knowing that the judicial system was working and that Trump and his allies would not be successful in undermining U.S. democracy.

Former President Donald Trump has maintained that all the indictments against him were part of a very long Witch Hunt and that they were all politically motivated. He has also pointed out that for three years there had been no indictments against him, and that the only reason they were bringing forward these charges now was because he is leading the Republican presidential primary race and beating President Biden in most polls.
