(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Clay Higgins, a GOP Congressman has warned that all those FBI officials who are involved in the investigations into the Capitol attack are “going down.”
There have been over 1,100 Americans who have been charged in connection to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack. At the time a group of supporters of former President Donald Trump had violently entered into the Capitol in an attempt to block the certification of the 2021 presidential election results.
Higgins from Louisiana, has been a vocal supporter of the conspiracy theory that federal agencies had planted some of the people who were there provoking the attack. He added that this attempt by the federal agencies was part of a plan to have conservatives arrested.
While speaking with right-wing commentator Lara Logan, Higgins argued that he was a former law enforcement officer. He further pushed his theory that the FBI had been tracking the supporters of former President Donald Trump for days before the Capitol attack and that they had treated them as suspected terrorists. He added that those who had been on the suspected lists are still being treated as terrorists, and are being tracked by air marshals despite not being convicted of any crimes.
He added that these were completely uncharted waters when it came to the weaponization of the U.S. government against American people and that he would be legally fighting those people as he was not after those involved in these tracking attempts. He proceeded to say that those responsible for this action would not get away with what they had done.
