(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Saturday during a press conference in Live Oak, Florida, President Biden was asked why he has not visited East Palestine, a small Ohio town that earlier this year was subjected to a lot of devastation after a train was derailed. However, Biden argued that he had not yet had the occasion to go to the area and that he has not even had the time to take a break recently.
Despite Biden’s claims, the reality is that in the last month, he has taken multiple holidays and gone on family getaways in both his home state, Delaware, and Nevada.
Biden proceeded to claim that he was considering visiting East Palestine this week, but that his schedule will not allow it as he has to visit India and then Vietnam. He added that this meant that it would take him quite some time to get to East Palestine. However, as he pointed out the city had everything it required in order for the problem to be dealt with.
Following the derailment of the train on February 3, chemicals and pollutants spewed into the local water contaminating them. This has also led to many of the locals being worried about the environmental effects of the spill, as well as the possible effects it could have on their health. However, officials have maintained that both the water and the air in the area are completely safe. Some of the residents following the disaster had claimed to be suffering from dizziness, headaches, and nausea.
In August Biden took a flight to Milwaukee almost flying over East Palestine, which also led to many Ohio Republicans criticizing the President.
