(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Wednesday President Biden slammed the House GOP over their decision to formalize the impeachment inquiry against him. He further pointed out that the Republican lawmakers were spending their time on “political stunts” rather than dealing with the issues that the American people are concerned about.
In a statement that was released only minutes after the impeachment vote, Biden stated that each day he woke up focused on tackling the issues that the American people were currently facing. He added that these were real and impactful issues, but that the Republican party was not joining him in focusing on these. Instead as he pointed out they are spending their time not focused on improving the lives of Americans, but instead focused on Attacking him.
Biden further claimed that GOP lawmakers were focusing on a “baseless political stunt” rather than focus on the important work that needed to be completed. Biden pointed out that the American people had the right to have things be “better” and that he would continue to focus on the important issues he currently is dealing with. He added that he was going to invite the Congress GOP to join him in these efforts.
Biden specifically compared the actions taken by the House GOP and pointed out by comparison he had spent Tuesday meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to get additional funding to support Ukraine during its fight with Russia. He further pointed out that he has been focused on the fight between Israel and Hamas, as well as his recent efforts to address the U.S. economy and situation at the border.
