(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Tuesday, in an interview with Time magazine, Patrick Mahomes, the star quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs decided to not make any comments about the presidential race and instead encouraged voters that they would need to be doing their own research prior to the 2024 presidential election.

In his interview, Mahomes argued that he did not want to be putting pressure on anyone that they needed to vote a certain way in the upcoming election. He continued by saying that what he wanted was for people to do their research and vote for what they believe so that their voices may be heard.

During the interview, the three-time Super Bowl champion, who was also named in 2024 as one of the 100 Most Influential People, argued that he did not want to publicly endorse any of the candidates.

In 2024, Mahomes also won the Most Valuable Player award for the third time after he led the San Francisco 49ers to victory. The Chiefs and Mahomes have really been featured heavily in the spotlight over the last year as global popstar and songwriter Taylor Swift has been seen attending many of the games in support of her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who is the team’s tight end.

Leading up to the Super Bowl conservative media had focused on many unproven conspiracy theories regarding the playoffs being rigged so that Kelce’s team would come out on top. This was all done so that Swift would then publicly endorse President Joe Biden in the 2024 election much like she had done in the 2020 election.
