Carlson’s departure from Fox News earlier this year coincided with the network’s agreement to pay Dominion Voting Systems a substantial settlement to resolve defamation claims. Dominion’s legal action was largely rooted in former President Trump’s unsubstantiated claims of election fraud, and Fox’s internal communications, including those from Carlson, came to light during the litigation. These communications revealed criticism of Trump and dismissal of his election-related assertions.
