(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Former President Donald Trump has issued an ominous warning to President Biden arguing that if he does not receive immunity from the appeals court, then the President could potentially face a weaponized Justice department.
Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social where he confirmed that this week he would be attending an appeals court hearing on his immunity. He added that many of the political issues that the Biden administration is dealing with could lead to Biden facing criminal prosecution after the end of his term in office.
Trump argued that the invasion of the U.S. border and the Afghanistan withdrawal alone would be important enough cases against Biden. He added that this was without mentioning the millions of dollars that had entered Biden’s ‘pockets’ from foreign countries.
Biden has been blasted in the past for his handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal and the U.S. border issues. Trump has also alleged Biden has received financial benefits from the business activities of his son Hunter Biden with foreign countries during his time serving as the vice president. However, thus far, there has not been any evidence to back these allegations.
Trump is currently facing four different criminal indictments, two of which are federal indictments. Trump is charged in two different cases of allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election results. As this occurred during his time in office, Trump has argued that he is protected by presidential immunity.
He has also denied any wrongdoing and has argued that the move was politically motivated.
