(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Former President Trump, who is currently leading the 2024 Republican presidential primary race, defended himself against the claims of mental missteps during his latest rally in New Hampshire. Trump’s remarks came after the comments from former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, regarding Trump’s mental fitness.

Trump in his push back deflected the questions regarding his mental health which occurred after he appeared to have mixed up Haley and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) during his remarks on Friday while he was discussing the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack. He proceeded to emphasize that he had “aced” the cognitive test that he had taken only a few months earlier.

During the rally, Trump argued that many times he would say that President Obama was doing a “lousy job” only to imply by that message that it is Obama who is running the show. Still, there will be people who will take those comments and twist them to pretend that Trump does not know who the U.S. president is. He added that he had taken a cognitive test only a few months earlier and that he had aced it, much like he had done during his time in the White House.

Trump has also frequently expressed concerns about President Biden’s age and his cognitive abilities being impaired leaving him unable to properly lead the United States.

On Friday during his speech, Trump mixed up Pelosi and Haley while talking about the Capitol attack. This prompted Haley to argue that she was concerned about the possibility of someone with questionable “mental fitness” serving in the White House.
