(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Special Counsel Robert Hur emerged as the winner following a hearing regarding President Biden’s classified documents case.

The prosecutor claimed during his testimony that he had decided that no charges should be filed against President Biden because of two related issues. The first one related to his doubts about whether or not Biden had willfully retained the classified documents, while the second one related to how unlikely he believed it would be for him to be convicted at trial.

However, while the non-exoneration had been a blow to the President and his allies, the House Judiciary Committee Democrats had fought to emphasize certain issues during the testimony. One of the most important points that the Democrats kept bringing up related to the differences between the behavior of former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden, who had been charged over the classified documents that he had retained in his Mar-a-Lago estate.

As they pointed out, unlike Trump’s team, Biden had shown complete cooperation during the investigation process and when handing over all the classified documents that had been found.

Another key point that they brought up related to the political damage that had been caused by Hur following the release of his report where he had claimed that Biden was a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” These comments brought to the forefront even further criticisms relating to Biden’s mental fitness ahead of the November election.

However, the release of the transcript provided more insight into this issue, as it showed how Hur and his team had unfairly made a reference to the President’s son, Beau Biden who had died in 2015 from brain cancer. Still, despite his confusion while talking about his son, Biden appeared to be well-composed during the rest of his testimony with Hur.
