(TruthAndLiberty.com) – The Republican National Committee’s new chair has vowed that he is going to be focused on ensuring election integrity. He added that this will include having “thousands” of lawyers on hand that will help bring forward any legal battles for electoral justice.

On Sunday, Chair Michael Whatley said during an appearance on “The Cats Roundtable” on WABC 770 AM-N.Y., that they needed to have observers and lawyers in the room both when the ballots are cast and when they are counted. He pointed out that currently, they were bringing “thousands” of lawyers and volunteers from across the United States so that when the election season started they would be present in the room.

The RNC which is currently going through a restructuring is focusing preemptively on protecting election integrity according to Whatley. He also told host John Catsimatidis that they wanted to ensure that there were good rules in place in every state. This is why they are working with Secretaries of State, boards of elections, and legislatures to make sure that all of the rules necessary are in place as they need them to be.

Whatley also noted that in the cases where such rules are not in place, they would be filing lawsuits.

Former President Donald Trump, who is the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, hand-selected Whatley to become the next RNC chair. Thus far, Whatley has already started the process of ensuring that there would be election integrity in place before the 2024 presidential election, having filed more than 80 lawsuits in 24 different states.
