Former New Jersey governor, Chris Christie following the CNN and MSNBC reports covering the Trump investigations stated that with Trump “everything he does is about him.”

Christie proceeded to state that Trump did not pay any attention to who else might get hurt, so long as he comes out on top. He added that regardless of how many times Trump might end up indicted he is never going to quit. He proceeded to claim that Trump is “like a vampire. He will come back again and again until you drive a stake through his heart.”

However, in large part, it is precisely that which might be an opening for Christie to take a shot at the White House again. While many other contenders are avoiding any direct attacks or criticism of former President Donald Trump, Christie has never avoided voicing his opinion. As a former prosecutor, he has developed a sharp style that allows him to take swings at Trump, who was once his ally and even took a swing at him during a New Hampshire town hall meeting this week.

In terms of making a decision on whether or not he is going to be placing a bid for the White House, Christie has said that he will decide whether or not he is going to run by mid-May. He continued to say that he is “almost all there” when it comes to making a decision. He had previously placed a bid for the White House in 2016 but he swiftly dropped out following the New Hampshire race.
