(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Democrat North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, have slammed former President Donald Trump over his push to replace Obamacare.
The Biden campaign’s National Advisory Board chair Nancy Pelosi, and board member Cooper recently spoke to the press during a press conference in which they discussed Trump’s recent call to have the Affordable Care Act (ACA) repealed if he wins back the White House.
Pelosi started off by saying that the remarks made by the former President were a “direct threat” to Americans. She added that this was a reminder that Trump is dedicated to destroying the affordable care options that are currently available to American families. She added that in doing so he was going to be assaulting both the health and financial security of Americans. Pelosi then proceeded by stating that Trump was “coming” for people’s health care.
Pelosi pointed out that she believes that Trump would be going after health care and that under President Biden Americans have had access to the most affordable health care in history. In a conversation, Cooper pointed out that Trump was great when it came to how he should approach conspiracy theories but that he did not have an understanding of the fact that everyday Americans needed health insurance.
The Democrats who have been backing Biden’s efforts to be re-elected, once again reiterated that repealing affordable health care would hurt millions of people across the country and argued that it was necessary for them to prevent the country’s democracy.
