(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton warned during an appearance on “Inside with Jen Psaki” that it was possible that Russia would attempt to meddle in the 2024 presidential election.
The former secretary of state argued that there should be more discussions about Moscow attempting to interfere with the U.S. elections, and argued that Russian President Vladimir Putin had been trying to meddle with the elections both because he hated democracy and the United States.
Clinton argued that the Russians have shown that they are quite effective in interfering and that if given the chance they would attempt to interfere with the presidential election again. She further alleged during the interview that Putin had gotten involved in the 2016 which she lost to Donald Trump, because he had not wanted her to win the White House.
As she argued they needed to reject fascism and authoritarianism. She further stated that they can’t allow those who want to vote for “wannabe dictators” to succeed.
Following her loss in the 2016 presidential election to Trump, Clinton has not shown any interest in attempting to get back in Office. In Early September she visited the White House for the Praemium Imperiale award ceremony which is awarded by the Japan Art Association.
During the 2016 campaign season, cyber security experts have found that Russian-based actors had breached the emails of the Democratic National Committee. Russia is also believed to have been part of the efforts to create more social media discord regarding the 2016 presidential election.
