(TruthAndLiberty.com) – President Biden, during a campaign event in Nevada ahead of the state primary on Tuesday, warned that former President Donald Trump winning back the White House in 2024 would be a “nightmare” for the United States.
On Sunday, Biden told a crowd of voters in Last Vegas that if Trump is reelected it is going to be a “nightmare.” He then proceeded to recount some of the most controversial moments related to Trump.
The first incident he referred to was when Trump reportedly referred to World War II veterans as “losers” and “suckers” during a visit to France in 2018. Biden argued that he was glad that he had not been there during that incident because he had not imagined calling his son and “your sons and daughters” who lost their lives in defense of the country “losers” and “suckers.” He proceeded to question who Trump thought he was.
He then recalled Trump’s statements about people needing to “get over” the Perry, Iowa school shooting. Biden added that they would not be getting over it and that instead, they would do everything possible to stop it.
Biden also pointed out that Trump denies climate change was an issue and how he had promised to “get rid of the Affordable [Care] Act” if he won back the White House. He added that if Trump is reelected it is going to be a “nightmare.”
Biden has already won the South Carolina primary and the New Hampshire primary race through a write-in campaign. Nevada is an important state in the general election as Biden is seen to be trailing behind the former President in several battleground states including Nevada.
