(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Friday President Biden commented on former President Donald Trump’s mugshot calling him a “handsome guy.” Trump had been booked a day earlier in Fulton County, Georgia following his indictment on 13 charges related to his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in the state.
When asked by reporters Biden had stated that he had seen the mug shot on television and that Trump was a “handsome guy.” Trump was the first U.S. president either current or former to have had his mug shot taken. While the former President had been indicted three times in the last year this is the first time that he was required to have his mug shot taken.
Trump revealed to Fox Digital after the mugshot that they had been insistent on taking his mug shot which is why he had agreed to it. He added that this was the only time he had ever had his mug shot taken.
On Wednesday, Trump’s interview with former Fox host Tucker Carlson was aired right as the first Republican primary debate in Milwaukee was taking place. Biden also commented on this interview claiming that he did not feel any “inclination” to see Trump’s interview.
President Biden also slammed the first GOP primary debate pointing out that none of the candidates that are competing to become the Republican nominees spoke about important issues despite the fact that there was a lot of general talking. He proceeded to question what the candidate’s plans for the economy; job growth and the economy are.
