(TruthAndLiberty.com) – The House GOP is looking at possible ways to bring forward criminal referrals against President Biden. However, many of those people close to the President have started to question have started to question whether they would manage to get enough votes. These concerns are also shared by members of the Republican party who are looking to impeach Biden.

The Department of Justice received an email from lawmakers who are pushing for the Biden family, including the President, as well as their associates, to be investigated in connection with specific alleged crimes. This would also go along with former President Donald Trump’s promise that he would be prosecuting Biden if he is defeated in the presidential election in November.

Rep. Kelly Armstrong, R-N.D., who has authorized the resolution that provides authorization to the impeachment proof has stated that he has not heard anything in the last few weeks that indicate that the House GOP is not close to having the necessary votes for impeachment.

The criminal charges would help the party avoid a possible failure of their impeachment attempts, as had happened when the first impeachment articles against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas had been brought forward. The impeachment resolution was barely passed on the second attempt.

Armstrong has argued that instead, the House GOP would be looking to have charges pressed, including charges for violation of the Foreign Against Registration Act, against President Biden in connection to his association with his son’s, Hunter Biden, foreign business dealings. He also noted that the Department of Justice would be looking into the obstruction accusations.
