(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Sunday, South Carolina Representative Jim Clyburn (D) stated that he was “very concerned” over the reelection campaign of President Joe Biden which had led to former President Donald Trump’s supporters cheering.

Trump, who is leading the 2024 Republican primary, has recently also been shown to have a lead against Biden in Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Nevada, five out of the six battleground states according to a November poll by Siena College and The New York Times. Since then many different polls have emerged showing that Biden has a lead against Biden despite the legal woes that Trump is facing at both federal and state levels.

Trump has pleaded not guilty in all cases and has maintained that he has committed no wrongdoings.

Clyburn in his recent interview on CNN’s State of the Union said that he has previously discussed with Biden his concerns regarding his 2024 reelection campaign. He added that while he was not worried about voters but instead that he was concerned, especially about Black voters. He pointed out that he had no issue with the Biden administration or everything that Biden had done, however, he did have an issue with the fact that they have not managed “to break through that MAGA wall.”

In 2020, Clyburn had endorsed Biden before the primary in South Carolina. It is widely believed that his endorsement was very helpful in securing Biden’s victory.

Clyburn added that the polls were not an accurate reflection of where the voters were and that he would not be paying attention to them until after the primaries.
