(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Monday, “The Story” anchor Martha MacCallum spoke with many voters from early primary states to see whether former President Donald Trump remained popular among Republican voters in the area. South Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania had been won by Trump in 2016, but in 2020 he had not managed to win Pennsylvania.

One voter from Ohio, Deb Ludwig, revealed that she is more likely to support a different GOP candidate like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis or entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy. She added that in the primary she does not believe that she will actually vote for Trump, which she did feel bad about. As she pointed out while Trump had been good while in the White House, since then there has been a lot of division in the country surrounding him, which is why she did not believe it was healthy for him to be the presidential candidate. However, she did point out that if Trump ends up being the Republican nominee against Biden, then she would support him without doubt.

Ludwig also commented on the legal cases against Trump, arguing that prosecutors did not appear to be too focused on following due process. She added that they did not appear to be focused on having the right facts and instead, they just seemed to be focused on destroying Trump, which was something she did not understand.

She further claimed that DeSantis and Trump shared a similar “moxie” while also adding that she was a fan of Ramaswamy and his campaign so far.
