(TruthAndLiberty.com) – The recent Echelon Insights poll indicates that ex-President Donald Trump is enjoying a substantial advantage over President Joe Biden in several pivotal states for the 2024 Presidential race. In the 2020 race, President Biden was able to secure victory by flipping key swing states such as Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
For the Democratic party to ensure Biden’s successful re-election, it is critical they retain the majority of these battleground states and others that proved fruitful in the 2020 election.
The poll reveals that approximately 48 percent of the voters in these crucial states expressed their intention to vote for the Republican nominee in the upcoming 2024 elections. At present, Trump holds a commanding lead in the race for the Republican nomination. Conversely, approximately 41 percent have indicated their preference for Biden.
The survey by Echelon Insights also discloses a close contest between Biden and Trump when participants were asked to choose their preferred candidate. The poll suggests that 45 percent would vote for President Trump, while 44 percent would cast their vote for Biden. However, when asked to select among Trump, Biden, and Green Party candidate Cornel West, Trump emerged as the popular choice with 43 percent, Biden followed closely with 42 percent, and West only secured 4 percent of the preference. The participation of West in the presidential race was previously thought to have a significant impact on the election outcomes.
