(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Jemele Hill, an Atlantic writer, previously commented that the criticisms against Vice President Kamala Harris by Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley had their roots in racism. However, Haley challenged this assertion by requesting that those who support Harris provide evidence for a single accomplishment that she has had.

Haley, who is the former South Carolina governor and former United Nations ambassador, stated that every American was able to see that President Biden’s health was declining and that there were many concerns about whether or not he would be able to serve a full second term. She proceeded to argue that this means that those who are voting for Biden are aware that their vote means they are voting for Harris.

Hill remarked on X, formerly Twitter, that Haley was racist over not believing in Harris who has frequently made the headlines for her many public gaffes which have been dubbed “word salads.” She proceeded to argue that one of the reasons why racism was a “terrible sickness” in the U.S. was because politicians like Haley were afraid that Black women could end up becoming the U.S. President. She then linked this type of rhetoric to the racially motivated shooting that took place over the weekend in Jacksonville, Florida.

Haley during a later interview on Fox News was asked about her thoughts on the claim that her opposition to a Harris presidency was racist. As Haley argued this was being said to a minority female who was currently in the presidential race. She then added that Harris’ identity, race, and gender were not connected to her lack of popularity and that instead, it was all about the fact that Harris was incompetent and that every American was aware of this. She added that every task Harris has been given is a task she has failed to complete.
