(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Former President Donald Trump, following his civil fraud trial has pleaded with the judge handling this case to leave his children alone.
Only hours after Trump’s statement, his two adult sons Donald Jr. and Eric, were set to take the stand in order to profess their innocence while also defending the Trump Organization. Shortly after their testimony, Ivanka Trump was set to take the stand.
The former President has not held back at all from blasting the families of his perceived adversaries during the various legal battles. As part of his comments, he has also often attacked the judges’ children and spouses. The latest victim of these attacks is Judge Juan Merchan’s daughter.
Merchan is tasked with overseeing the criminal trial against Trump which is connected to the hush money payments that were made on his behalf to adult film star Stormy Daniels in order to cover up his alleged affair ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
Trump has pleaded not guilty to all 34 counts in this case.
Authentic Campaigns executive Loren Merchan, who is the daughter of Judge Merchan has previously worked for a number of Democrats, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), Vice President Harris, and President Joe Biden.
On Wednesday Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to target Merchan’s daughter after an account that was previously linked to her consulting firm posted a photo of himself behind bars. Trump in his comment noted that the judge’s daughter had been allowed to post whatever they visualized for him. He added that the Judge is allowed to violate the constitution and the Laws, but that he can’t respond to those violations and attacks made against him.
