(TruthandLiberty.com) – On Monday, President Joe Biden opposed President Donald Trump following his conviction, telling donors during a fundraiser that something had “snapped” after Trump lost the previous presidential election.

Biden in his remarks argued that what was becoming clearer every day is that Trump poses a much greater threat in his possible second term than he had posed during his first term. He added that this was not the same Trump who had won in 2016 and that he was significantly worse. He noted that there was something that “snapped” within him after losing the 2020 presidential election and that it was impossible to accept this loss as it was driving him insane.

Biden pointed out that Trump was now running again and he was obsessed with not suffering another loss similar to the one he suffered in 2020. He added that it was clear that Trump was “unhinged.”

Biden slammed Trump for being a “convicted felon” which is something that his campaign has pointed out a number of times since Trump’s conviction. However, this is the first time that Biden himself has made any comments about it.

Biden argued that this was the first time in U.S. history that a former President had not only been convicted but was also seeking another term in the White House. He added that as disturbing as this was, the more damaging thing was the assault that Trump was making on the justice system.

The president’s comments had come during a fundraiser in Greenwich, Conn., to wealthy donors. Biden also argued that it was “irresponsible” of the former President to be claiming that the trial was rigged. On Monday, Biden had told donors that he believed Trump was running just to ensure his freedom.
