(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Former President Donald Trump is seriously considering the repercussions of a possible endorsement of President Joe Biden by singer-songwriter Taylor Swift among young voters. Reportedly last week, Trump had asked during a closed-door House GOP meeting what the possible effect of Swift endorsing Biden, which is something she had previously done during the 2020 presidential election.

A lawmaker who was present in the room argued that it is clear that this is something that Biden has considered. Author Ramin Setoodeh, whose new book about Trump and Mark Burnet is released this week, in his own comments argued that the former President is completely “fixated” on the singer as he considers fame to be “one of the most valuable currencies.” He added that this means that Swift, who is one of the most famous people in the world, not endorsing him was something that mattered to him.

Setoodeh, who is also the Variety co-editor-in-chief interviews the former President for his book and had specifically asked Trump about Swift. As he noted when asked about the singer, Trump had commented that she is “unusually beautiful” and added that he thinks she is a “liberal” and as such not a fan of his. However, he did proceed to question whether she was truly liberal or she was just acting that way.

Political experts have pointed out that the superstar could play an important role in something that both Trump and President Biden are struggling with, which is engaging with young voters.

Setoodeh noted that the value of an endorsement from Swift is something that even Trump recognizes.
