(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Former President Donald Trump has chosen a running mate.

Trump revealed to a group of reporters in Philadelphia on Saturday that he had chosen a Vice President and that the person he’s selected would be in attendance at his debate on Thursday with President Joe Biden.

Trump also told the reporters that he hadn’t divulged his choice for a running mate to anyone, stating the choice remains in his mind for the time being.

However, speculation has been rife about who his top three choices are, with Republican Senators J.D. Vance (Ohio) and Marco Rubio (Florida) and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum (R) reported to have made the cut.

The former President also didn’t reveal whether he would announce his running mate at Thursday’s debate.

But, Trump’s hint comes as the former President wants to galvanize support for his 2024 Presidential campaign which has been marked by relentless legal battles. His choice for running mate is considered a critical one that has the potential to influence voter sentiment and the race’s dynamics.

His top three candidates could attract more support for Trump from within the GOP and among moderates. Choosing Rubio, Trump would gain the Florida Republicans extensive political and foreign policy experience. Vance has captured the nation’s attention with his bestselling memoir “Hillbilly Elegy,” and Burgum represents a pragmatic approach to governance that has been popular among North Dakota’s voters and could be just as popular across the nation.

But, Trump’s choice to keep his VP under wraps has also allowed him to maximize interest in his various public appearances, where supporters and the media wait to hear who he’ll choose.
