(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Wednesday, Reps. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) teamed up against the new ad campaign in New York that is pushing against Ocasio-Cortez in the Democratic primary.
Job Creators Network, a conservative activist group, has expressed support for the primary opponent of the progressive Representative and has put up a Times Square billboard ad in which they attack her for her weak position on immigration and crime. They also slam her for not having been able to bring jobs successfully to the state.
Ocasio-Cortez took to social media to laugh off the recent campaign and argued that Manhattan does not even belong in her congressional district. In her post, she joked “ D-Margaritaville,” and was joined by Frost who argued, “That’s over here.”
The group is spending six figures on their ad which is supporting Wall Street investor Marty Dolan against the Democratic Representative. The New York Post in their report pointed out that this is the first time that the group has provided support to a Democrat.
Alfredo Ortiz, the CEO of Job Creators Network has accused Ocasio Cortez of being a threat to small business and the American way of living. He added that Dolan is a moderate voice that is going to help working-class families and businesses in New York. As he pointed out those residing in the city are looking to undo the damage caused by Ocasio-Cortez and to put an end to the bleeding which is why they should vote in support of Dolan.
