(TruthAndLiberty.com) – A new CBS News poll found that most Americans think that if former President Donald Trump won back the White House in 2024 the United States would be kept out of the war. They have also argued that should this happen they would be better off financially.
According to the poll, 45 percent of Americans think that if Trump becomes the President again then their financial situation will be better. The remaining percentage is divided between those who think that Trump winning his third bid would leave them worse off (32 percent) and those who think that the situation would not change (23 percent).
The poll’s respondents in their majority believed that another term with President Biden in office would leave them worse off. Specifically, 48 percent said they would be worse off, while 18 percent argued that they would be financially in a better position if Biden wins in 2024. Finally 34 percent stated that the situation would continue to be the same.
Regarding whether or not the U.S was going to be kept outside of any wars the majority of voters believe that Trump would do better to keep the country out of wars than Biden would. Specifically 43 percent of voters argued that should Trump win a second term in office there would be a decreased chance of the United States entering a war. However, 39 percent argued that under Trump the possibility of them entering a war would increase.
