(TruthandLiberty.com) – Reporters work hard to get the best answers for the stories and columns they write. Sometimes their tactics can be aggravating to the individuals they’re questioning. It seems that was the case when a Biden spokesperson wouldn’t answer inquiries about the recent findings in the John Durham investigation.
White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declined to comment during a February 14 press briefing on recent court filings issued by Special Counsel John Durham. Jacqui Heinrich, a Fox News correspondent, first asked Jean-Pierre if President Biden had any concerns regarding the report, to which she replied that’s something she couldn’t speak about from the podium and referred Heinrich to the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Heinrich then asked a follow-up question concerning the report. Again, Jean-Pierre referred her to the DOJ. After the third question about the filings, the deputy press secretary, visibly frustrated, insisted her answer wouldn’t change regardless of how many times Heinrich asked before again referring her to the DOJ.
Former Attorney General William Barr appointed Durham to lead an investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe. Durham’s findings point back to individuals connected with the Clinton 2016 presidential campaign more and more as the investigation continues. Is this why the White House refuses to comment on the matter? Is the Biden administration worried Durham’s findings could damage Clinton or the Democratic party?
