Biden’s Office Of Disinformation Comes Back From The Grave
(TruthandLiberty.com) – After several months of criticism over a White House decision to create a government Disinformation Board, the Biden administration backed off and shut down the proposal. It seems that was a temporary decision. Instead, it appears they exchanged one form for another. On Thursday, the White House announced it was establishing a White House Task Force to Address Online Harassment and Abuse, headed by Vice President Kamala Harris.
The White House memo commended gendered misinformation and said the Biden administration would create programs and policies to eliminate disinformation campaigns targeting LGBTQ+ people who serve in highly public fields. The Director of the White House Gender Policy Council and the Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs will have the authority to decide what constitutes online harassment and recommend new programs and policies to protect people.

Harris expressed concern about white supremacy and privacy protections for abortion in a statement concerning the disinformation crackdown. Yet, she didn’t balance her speech with protections for conservative Supreme Court justices or politicians who are doxxed or dangerous left-wing activities online.
Numerous Conservatives and conservative groups noted the new task force sounded very similar to the disinformation board that Congress forced Biden to scuttle. Still, others wondered who would monitor the White House and the president regarding disinformation.
