On Friday, former Attorney General Bill Barr claimed that if former President Donald Trump returns to the White House the only thing he will bring is “chaos” and a “horror show.”

During an event in Cleveland, where he discussed his new book “One Damn Thing After Another: Memoirs of an Attorney General,” Barr argued that those who believe in Trump’s policies should be aware that he is the last person who would be able to actually pull through and achieve what he said. He further added that when Trump is left to do as he pleases it is a “horror show” and that Trump has neither the “discipline” nor the “strategic thinking” required in order to deliver on his promises.

Barr had previously served as attorney general under Trump and former President George H.W. Bush. Since leaving Trump’s administration in December 2020, he has frequently criticized the former president and prior to his resignation had even noted that the former president had no evidence to back his claims about the 2020 presidential election being rigged and that there was widespread voter fraud.

While discussing the possibility of a second Trump presidency, Barr said that all that Trump would deliver is “chaos” and that he would not be able to push his policies any further.

Barr had said last month that he did not believe that Trump would win against President Biden in 2024 and that if nothing else, Trump was the Republican candidate “most likely to lose again.”
