In a ReAwaken America rally, former President Donald Trump stated that he would bring Michael Flynn back if he were to win the 2024 presidential election.

Flynn, a former White House national security adviser and retired Army general, had previously pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI twice, before reversing these claims. This was in connection to the Russia investigation, which ended with Trump pardoning Flynn before the end of his administration. Flynn proceeded to launch the ReAwaken America tour only months after the end of the Trump administration and the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack.

The ReAwaken America tour is particularly known for hosting conferences that promote conspiracy theorists, pastors, and pro-Trump speakers, while NPR has stated that each tour stop is “part conservative Christian revival, part QAnon expo, and part political rally.”

The tour’s latest stop took place in Miami and ended on Saturday evening.

Trump, who was not present at the event as he was previously scheduled to have an outdoor rally in Iowa which was canceled because of the tornado watch, called Flynn during the ReAwaken America three-day event in Miami.

A video posted on Twitter by lawyer Ron Filipkowski shows that Trump told Flynn that if he wins in 2024, he was going to have a place in his administration. Trump can also be heard praising Flynn, for taking all the “abuse” and still coming back stronger than ever. Trump proceeded to state on the phone that Flynn needed to remain healthy so that he could return to the White House if Trump wins. The clip has now garnered millions of views.
