(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Sunday former President Donald Trump promised that if he wins the White House in 2024 he was going to instruct the Justice Department (DOJ) to investigate all “radical” district attorneys and attorney generals. He further stated that he would “completely overhaul” the Department of Justice.
While speaking in front of a crowd of his supporters in Iowa Trump argued that he was going to target all the officials who actively practiced “reverse” racism. HE added that he was going to block “Marxist prosecutors” from releasing back into society murderers and rapists while probing and persecuting conservatives. He added that he was going to completely overhaul the department and have the District Attorneys and Attorney Generals investigated over their illegal implementation of the law.
Trump also promised that if elected to office he would form a “Truth and Reconciliation Commission,” that would be tasked with investigating every “rotten corner of Washington, D.C.” He added that the first task of the commission would be to look into Joe Biden. He noted that this was the time for them to take such action because of how bad the things that the left was doing to the country were.
This is not the first time that Trump has threatened to launch an investigation into government officials that he has referred to as corrupt or who he claims are part of the politically motivated cases and allegations being brought against him. He further outlined his plans to give the U.S. president more authority while limiting the guardrails of bureaucracy. As he has pointed out this would allow the President to direct agencies as he found needed.
