(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Thursday former President Donald Trump while speaking to reporters pointed out that a CNN legal analyst had previously argued that Trump should not be found guilty in the New York City hush money trial.

After a day in court, Trump listed to reporters a number of analysts and outlets that have stated that they have doubts about the case that has been brought against him. This includes CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig.

While pointing to a pile of papers Trump argued that it was a “fascinating” day as it had shown how much of a “scam” the case against him is. He added that it appears that everyone believed this, including MSNBC and CNN. He pointed out that Elie Honig had stated in his analysis that he would not have brought forward charges in this case.

Honig is often brought on CNN segments to analyze the different legal battles of the former President. This week he specifically stated that he had concerns regarding the hush money case’s star witness Michael Cohen.

On Thursday Cohen was brought on the stand where Trump’s defense team subjected him to an intense cross-examination. During the live coverage of the trial on CNN, Honig commented that he had never before seen a cooperating star witness have his “knees chopped out” so dramatically as Cohen had by Trump’s team.

A day prior to the trial Honig had suggested that the public dislike that Cohen had for Trump was going to be a “bonanza” for Trump’s legal team. He added while they take for granted Cohen’s public figure position in a cross-examination setting it is going to be a bonanza.
