Former President Trump on Monday insisted that he had no intention of terminating the “Constitution. This was after he received backlash from both sides over the weekend over his Truth Social post in which he claimed that all rules, laws, and even the Constitution should be terminated in order for him to return to the White House.

Trump once again took to Truth Social to respond to the criticisms that he faced regarding the 2020 elections and what should take place in order for him to return to the office. The original comments had come after the release of “the Twitter papers” in which it was disclosed that certain employees within the company had worked together in order to limit the spread of the allegations regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop and any influence he might have used while his father Joe Biden was the vice President.

Trump on Monday afternoon said that “The Fake News” is working hard in order to try to “convince the American People that I said I wanted to ‘terminate’ the Constitution.” He added that this much like the whole Russia endeavor is nothing but lies and disinformation. Trump added that what he always meant is that steps would need to be taken in order “to RIGHT THE WRONG.”

He added that in the case of fraudulent elections, then it is clear that the election should be returned to the rightful winner.
