Trump Responds to FBI Arrest of Steele Dossier Source

( – In 2016, the FBI opened an investigation into the Trump campaign, alleging it colluded with Russians to defeat Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. For the first three years of Trump’s presidency, Democrats dogged the Trump administration and repeated allegations they had proof Trump had colluded with Russia.

The discredited Steele Dossier was the supposed proof for their unfounded allegations. Unfortunately for Democrats, former special counsel Bob Mueller spent $32 million in taxpayer dollars only to conclude the dossier was fake. Attorney General William Barr concluded there was no evidence Trump colluded with Russia.

In 2019, Barr appointed federal prosecutor John Durham as a special counsel to investigate the origins of the fake Russia collusion narrative. On November 3, after a grand jury indicted Russian operative Igor Danchenko for lying to the FBI, Durham filed charges against the Russian citizen, and federal authorities arrested him in Virginia. On Monday, November 8, Donald Trump spoke with BlazeTV about the revelations and charges against those who had tried to set him up.

Trump Speaks Out

On September 29, 2020, Former National Intelligence Director John Ratcliffe dropped a bombshell on the Senate Judiciary Committee. He said an analysis of Russian intelligence showed Hillary Clinton had signed off on the Russiagate narrative to distract attention away from an email scandal that threatened her both politically and criminally. In 2019 and 2020, the FBI suspected Igor Danchenko was the Russian spy who had compiled Clinton’s fake Russia collusion narrative.

A grand jury indicted him after the bombshell revelation last week that Danchenko had fabricated the Steele dossier (which officials had used to obtain search warrants in 2016) and lied to the FBI. Former President Trump offered some of his own views and insights into the matter. Speaking with Allie Beth Stuckey on BlazeTV, Trump said Hillary Clinton, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and the Democratic Party knew the truth and dragged the country through the mud.

The former president said Democrats created a phony scheme and pushed “Russia, Russia, Russia” for three years. Trump said Democrat leadership continually called for his prosecution and the prosecution of his kids and wanted them thrown in jail based on a lie. When asked why the Danchenko case matters to every American, the former Commander in Chief suggested the government could lie and destroy people’s lives.

On Wednesday, November 10, Danchenko pled not guilty to five counts of making false statements to the FBI. Federal Judge Anthony John Trenga ordered the Russian free on bond and set a preliminary trial date for April 18, 2022.
