(TruthAndLiberty.com) – On Thursday, former President Donald Trump delivered remarks after the criminal proceedings in his criminal hush money trial had come to an end for the day. In his comments, he argued that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping had been meeting in order to cause more “damage” while he was being forced to sit “in an icebox.”

Trump argued that he knew both of these presidents very well and that they were currently drafting plans together to cause damage because ultimately that was all they were thinking about, how to cause damage.

Earlier that day Putin had arrived in Beijing for the first state visit of his new term. The two men are going to be using this chance to celebrate the relations between the two countries and talk about international affairs.

The visit comes as the Russian efforts against Ukraine continue with an offensive that is considered to be the largest one since the start of the war. The major offensive has led to thousands of civilians being made to evacuate the northeastern region.

Xi is interested in what will happen with Putin’s takeover of Ukraine, as this could potentially change China’s position with Taiwan. While China considers Taiwan to be part of its country, the island has never been controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.

Trump compared his situation with Xi’s interest in Taiwan. He added that Xi completely expects that he will be able to take over Taiwan and he even made a comment about it today.
