(TruthAndLiberty.com) – Hunter Biden has agreed to a plea deal with federal prosecutors on two misdemeanor charges which will likely result in him not having to do any time in prison in connection to his crimes. On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump, who was recently federally indicted, pointed out the differences in how Biden’s and his case were being handled.

Specifically, Trump argued that the plea agreement effectively reduced the charges against Hunter Biden to a “traffic ticket” which clearly shows the corruption in the justice system. In an interview with Fox News Digital, Trump argued that this “traffic ticket” which would clear everything for Biden was a “disgrace” to the justice system, and the country and was completely unfair. He then proceeded to reiterate his claims that this showed “prosecutorial misconduct” and more importantly that the case against him was an attempt to interfere with the 2024 presidential election.

Earlier this month Trump pleaded not guilty to 37 federal charges that were the result of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s probe into his alleged retention and mishandling of classified documents after he left the White House in 2021.

U.S. Attorney for Delaware David Weiss, who was appointed by Trump, announced earlier this week the plea agreement reached with Hunter Biden. As he pointed out Hunter Biden will be made to plead guilty to two counts of failing to pay his federal income tax for two consecutive years. Biden is also going to enter a pretrial diversion agreement on the separate charge of possessing a firearm during a time when he was addicted to a controlled substance or considered an unlawful user.

Trump argued that if this had happened to one of his family members then they would likely face “hundreds of years” in prison which shows how corrupt the FBI and the justice system are.
