(TruthandLiberty.com) – On Friday former President Donald Trump argued that not only should the New York hush money case be dismissed but also that the White House’s “inner halls” needed to be apologizing to him.

Taking to his social media platform Truth Social he argued that there was a “virtually universal agreement” regarding how this criminal case against him brought forward by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is essentially a sham and that he was being directly prosecuted by the Department of Justice and White House. He continued by pointing out that the case needed to be completely dismissed and that he and all others who have needed to deal with the “Election Interfering Hoax” should receive apologies.

The historic trial in New York continues with its processes, as Trump has become the first sitting or former US president to be involved in a criminal trial. He previously pleaded not guilty to the falsifying business records charges which allegedly were part of his efforts to hide a hush money payment that had been made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in an attempt to keep her silent about their alleged affair before the 2016 presidential election. Trump has denied the affair.

Currently, Trump has been placed under a gag order in this case, which meant that his communication was limited regarding the “sham trial.”

This week star witness Michael Cohen testified in the case. However, Trump is restricted in the comments he can make about the proceedings and the people involved in the trial.
