This Is How America Views Kamala Harris Now

According to the newest polls, Vice President Kamala Harris’s approval rates remain low as the midterm elections are nearing.

According to an analysis by poll tracker FiveThirtyEight, 52.4 percent of Americans expressed negative views about the Vice Presidents’ performance. Her approval rates by comparison were only around 37.6 percent.

The Vice President’s disapproval rates have not decreased to below 50 percent for increased periods since October 2021. Her last relatively positive ratings were on September 26, 2021, when she had around 41.4 percent. At the time, her disapproval ratings were around 40.5 percent. These percentage rates bring her popularity below Biden’s.

According to the FiveThirtyEight poll analysis, President Biden’s disapproval rate is also at 52.3 percent. However, around 42.6 percent of Americans believe that he has been performing his job well.

When President Biden took over office, he had quite high approval rates, however, those fell sharply after the unorganized retreat from Afghanistan which led to the fall of the country to the Taliban in August 2021.

Donald Trump is also not polling well as he has not had positive approval ratings following his exit from office. A recent YouGov survey, conducted on behalf of the Economist, found that around 55 percent of Americans disapproved while 44 percent approved of Trump.
