Tara Reade, who has accused Biden of assault has now defected to Moscow, however, an expert has claimed that the reports about her defecting might not be much more than Russian propaganda.
Rebekah Koffler, president of Doctrine & Strategy Consulting and a former Defense Intelligence Agency officer recently told Fox News Digital that it was likely that Reade “is being played by Putin’s regime” in an attempt to harm Biden by having the story about the alleged sexual assault play in the media one more time now that the President has announced his reelection campaign in 2024.
Reade had previously spoken at a news conference with Sputnik International, a Russian state-owned news agency, in which she had spoken about the events and had stated that she was scared of what reprisal she might face living in the United States after her claims that President Biden had assaulted her when she was working as a congressional staffer in 1993.
At first Reade, along with a few other women had brought forth allegations about Biden inappropriately touching them, but she had then elevated those claims to sexual assault after Biden moved ahead in the Democratic primaries.
Biden’s team has repeatedly denied the allegations stating that they are “false” and had pushed for news agencies to “rigorously vet those claims” while at the same time talking about the importance of women coming forth with their allegations. A prior exec assistant to then Senator Biden also stated that these claims are “clearly false.”
