Russian Forces Push Onward – Here Is What They Captured!
(TruthandLiberty.com) – As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine entered the third month, Russia failed to accomplish its military objectives. The Russian military recently pulled forces out of Kyiv, the nation’s capital. It moved the troops to the self-proclaimed Russian separatist republics of Donetsk and Luhansk in Donbas. On Wednesday, April 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin told parliament the Kremlin would unconditionally fulfill the special military operation it began on February 24 to free the separatist regions from Ukraine.
As Russia moved to secure Eastern Ukraine, the smaller country’s officials acknowledged the occupation of more than 42 small towns. The Kremlin’s successes came after a Russian commander said his government had broader ambitions than just eastern Ukraine. He said Russia could secure complete control over all of southern Ukraine to the Moldova border.

In Moldova, a country to the west of Ukraine, concerns are mounting that Russia may use the Russian separatist region of that country, known as Transnistria, to mount a new front against Ukraine or use it as a base to invade Moldova. On Wednesday, Moldova’s interior ministry said someone fired shots overnight from a Ukrainian area toward a village storing a sizable Russian ammunition supply center. Additionally, the ministry said it spotted drones flying over the village that likely came from Ukraine.
Russia’s foreign ministry refuses to rule out taking Transnistria and drawing Moldova into the war.
